Conspiracy

What does Sonic The Hedgehog and Michael Jackson have in common? No, this is not a pedophile joke. But strangely enough they have a lot more in common that I wish I knew as a kid who was raised on Michael Jackson hits. Check this out!

"According to an interview in the French magazine Black & White—the "official magazine of Michael Jackson"—Jackson's composer and musical director Brad Buxer says Michael was responsible for some of Sonic 3's compositions. The themes that appear in Sonic 3 and some of Jackson's own songs are not a coincidence.

As for Sega and Sonic the Hedgehog lead Yuji Naka's caginess about confirming Jackson's involvement? This may be your answer.

"And if he is not credited for composing the music, it's because he was not happy with the result sound coming out of the console," Buxer said. "At the time, game consoles did not allow an optimal sound reproduction, and Michael found it frustrating. He did not want to be associated with a product that devalued his music..." - Kotaku

You can listen yourself here. I would embed the video but dude asked that people don't.

Icetris

Originally, the game Tetris was inspired by ice cubes from Russia. The Russians used these ice cubes to make steps and climb over big walls. When the ice melted, it would really confuse the bad guys, cause all they would see is a really big wall and a puddle of water! They'd be all like, "What? How? this is a mystery."

You can buy these awesome ice trays from Attack Mode for only $15.00! That is, when they get the next batch ordered. They sold out immediately.

Requirements For All Books

All books and anything readable should have these simple instructions.

Oh, no wonder I broke my legs, it's not a parachute at all!?

Reading has never been a strong passion of mine. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and recognize it's importance and I know I would benefit greatly from reading, but really, I'd rather just do something else. It's pretty much been that way my whole life. Which is why this story I'm about to tell is funny.

One day I was at my friend's mother in law's house playing video games. We had probably just finished Free Bird on expert or shot a zombie in the head, because he killed our parents, I don't honestly remember but it's really not important. What's important is that while my friend was taking a turn, I looked at the coffee table and saw something that sent a flood of nostalgia out my mouth, "I LOVE THIS BOOK!" I exclaimed.
Stunned, my friend stopped playing because those mere words alone out of my mouth were enough to shock and maybe cause a little vomit from surprise. He turned around thinking, "WHAT! Chris loves a book!?"
There he saw me sitting in the easy chair holding "The Eleventh Hour". For those of you who don't know, it's a picture book.
Relieved the world hadn't ended, my friend continue blasting zombies, aliens, monsters, or whatever. True Story.

The Great Debate

This will affect you and your children in the possible near future. I suggest you take this very very serious.

I don't know what's worse, ignorant parents who ignore these warnings? Or the fact that there's not enough of these lying around. Either way, something has got to be done and I believe that we are close to being on the right track but far from it.

Better take this quiz to be sure.

55%

Well it looks like I'm screwed, probably cause I don't own a gun. Anybody going to Walmart?

Game Over

Maybe "Game Over" wouldn't be so bad if it was always like this one.

8th Grade Memories

It's very important to be scientifically minded. Especially when dealing with very important life skills. 8th graders, start memorizing, there's going to be a test on this.

Next lesson inlcudes history, so pay extra attention.

And for your final, you must fill in everyone of these correctly.

8th grade was awesome.

Dear Russia, Tetris Rocks

Yes, I have had a dream about Tetris. Yes, it was exactly like the video game. Any more questions? Yes, you? Yes... I know that's sad. But it's all the more reason to buy these:

Seungyoub Oh invented these. He's my new favorite inventor. Him and the guy who invented this. I love you both.

Kids gotta be prepared too.

I enjoy art (some art) and I also enjoy video games. I really enjoy it when the two are combined. Here's something I really enjoy.

The constant flood of zombies bothering us never seems to end. But where does it begin? How come all the zombie movies, zombie comics, zombie games, and anything else zombie, only show zombies bothering adults? What about the kids? They gotta be prepared too. Right?

The painting was done by Jason Chan, who works for Massive Black, a concept art company.

Ingenious?

And I was about to go out and buy a real one.

The Trashcade, constructed using cardboard boxes along with lots of Tape. I imagine anger is this cabinet's inevitable collapse. (i.e. "Dang you Mario! and you ability to not jump when I told you to!" Punch the side of the arcade and... COLLAPSE!)

Videos Games Are Real

Consistently I find myself having the "Video Game Dream", which usually dishes out an army of zombies, monsters, or dinosaurs. Always present in the dreams are the classic hit points, life bars, and guns. Did you even have to ask?
Just the other night I fought off Tyrannosaurus Rex using a chain gun attached to the back of a pimped out silver Jeep. While the driver swerved down a city street, I let each bullet go with a feeling of, "Yes! I am the man! and this T Rex is not!" Every time a bullet hit the T Rex a little number would appear and disappear, signifying that I had subtracted that amount of life from his total health points.
You think this sounds awesome? Wait till you hear about my bikini squad zombie slayers dream.

Mixing real life with video games has sort of become something to do.
