This has been making the rounds, but I couldn't pass it up, it's just too awesome. Here's the headline:

Scientist is Very Serious and Wants to Make a Dinosaur.

"Hans Larsson, the Canada Research Chair in Macro Evolution at Montreal's McGill University, said he aims to develop dinosaur traits that disappeared millions of years ago in birds."
"Larsson believes by flipping certain genetic levers during a chicken embryo's development, he can reproduce the dinosaur anatomy, he told AFP in an interview."
"Though still in its infancy, the research could eventually lead to hatching live prehistoric animals, but Larsson said there are no plans for that now, for ethical and practical reasons -- a dinosaur hatchery is "too large an enterprise." - physorg.com

Larsen says he got the idea after talking to some dude who served as tech adviser for Jurassic Park the Movie.

Christmas just came early kids! I've already started building a jungle in my backyard for me and Laser to play in. Yes, I'm naming my dinosaur Laser because he's that awesome.

I've been thinking real hard about this one for a while. So I open the question to you. Who would win in a fight against a dinosaur?

Now, we've seen this one a few times. But still, I'm not convinced. There's no way King Kong was real so that battle in his movie doesn't count.

This next one has too many possibilities, but if we are sticking to real life, then the answer is pretty clear. Sorry Chuck.

Now here's something no one expected. I sure can't win a fight with the bed, it knocks me out every time I lay into it. But a dinosaur is much rowdier so there could be an inbalance there.

Please don't make me choose!

How very polite and nice, Dinosaurs are so misunderstood. I really think we could make the world a better place for all if we just took the time to say hi. Except terrorists. We say goodbye to them.

Dino-Tastic High Fives for everyone!

This is the ULTIMATES of all ULTIMATES. It combines two things I love: Awesomeness and Dinosaurs!

Picture this, I start the game up, not sure of what I'm getting into, then suddenly a delicious rock electric guitar solo shreds and the title appears.

Robot Dinosaurs That Shoot Beams When They Roar! Screaming YES at the top of my lungs over and over again I begin my adventure, and this is what I have to say about it.

"This is the best game I've ever played." *sniff* And now the earth is safe for another Ten-Gillion years.

Videos Games Are Real

Consistently I find myself having the "Video Game Dream", which usually dishes out an army of zombies, monsters, or dinosaurs. Always present in the dreams are the classic hit points, life bars, and guns. Did you even have to ask?
Just the other night I fought off Tyrannosaurus Rex using a chain gun attached to the back of a pimped out silver Jeep. While the driver swerved down a city street, I let each bullet go with a feeling of, "Yes! I am the man! and this T Rex is not!" Every time a bullet hit the T Rex a little number would appear and disappear, signifying that I had subtracted that amount of life from his total health points.
You think this sounds awesome? Wait till you hear about my bikini squad zombie slayers dream.

Mixing real life with video games has sort of become something to do.

Sometimes I think we don't realize the potential that remakes have. Take "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" for example. This is how I would imagine "Valley of Gwangi" would be remade.
